02 Data Collection
None
Brewkeeper does not collect any personal data. We have no servers, no analytics, and no accounts. Every brew, bean, recipe and setting you create stays on your device.
03 Data Usage
The information you enter is used only to provide the app's features — logging brews, computing your stats and streaks, and displaying your library. All processing happens on-device only. Nothing is transmitted anywhere.
04 Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any data to anyone. There is nothing to share because nothing leaves your device. If you choose to export or share a backup file, that action is initiated entirely by you through your device's own share sheet.
05 Data Security
Your brewing data is stored in a local database encrypted with AES-256 (via Hive CE and an encryption key held in the platform secure keystore through flutter_secure_storage). Because data never leaves the device, it is not exposed to network interception.
06 Data Retention
Your data is retained on your device until you delete it. You can remove individual records, archive them, or wipe everything at once via Settings → Clear all data. Uninstalling the app also removes all of its data.
07 No User Accounts
Brewkeeper has no sign-up, no login, and no user profiles. You do not provide an email, phone number, or any identifier to use the app.
08 Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Brewkeeper does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13. Because no personal information is collected from any user, the app is compliant with COPPA by design.
09 Your Rights
You are always in full control of your data. You can view, edit, export, or permanently delete any and all of it directly within the app at any time — no request to us is required, because we never hold your data.
10 No Third-Party Services
Brewkeeper contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no third-party trackers. It does not integrate any external service that could receive your data.
11 Permissions
The app requests a single permission: INTERNET. It is used only to display this privacy policy inside an in-app browser window. No other device permission (camera, location, contacts, storage, notifications) is requested or used.
12 Google Play Data Safety
Consistent with this policy, our Google Play Data Safety declaration states: no data collected, no data shared. All app functionality, including insights, gamification and export, runs entirely on-device.
13 Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and publish the revised version at this URL. Material changes will be reflected in an app update. This version is effective as of July 11, 2026.
